MINDnART

“MINDnART: Empowering Teachers to manage students stress through Emotional Intelligence and Creative Art Interventions “ 2023-1-ES01-KA220-SCH-000155569 is an Erasmus+ project in which VVIF collaborates with 10 partners from 5 European countries. The project focuses on the need for psychological coping mechanisms in vulnerable students across Europe to adjust and overcome personal adversity, long-term life challenges, and societal shocks and disasters.
In this partnership, schools, NGOs, and other educational institutions gathered together to work on building up the capacity of primary school teachers. The aim is to nurture children’s well-being, character traits, and stress resilience within the school curriculum with combined innovative Art interventions.

The first transnational project meeting (TPM) was held in January 2024 in Barcelona, Spain, where two representatives of VVIF took part of it.

                                                           Second TPM

In September 2024, VVIF, in collaboration with 90th School "Gen. Hose de San Martin", hosted the second TPM. Partners from Spain, Italy, Cyprus, Slovenia, and Bulgaria gathered to work on the deliverables of the MINDnART project. Together, we discussed the progress of the two pivotal project outputs: the Stress Resilience Curriculum and the Art Therapy Toolbox for Stress Resilience.

In the afternoon, all 22 participants immersed themselves in hands-on creative activities facilitated by VVI's team, experiencing an impactful art workshop on silk painting. The partners had the opportunity to try the relaxing silk painting technique themselves, discovering its calming and therapeutic effects firsthand.

Stay tuned for more updates on this project within school education!
