Creative

The project "Creative" is a transnational project, coordinated by the municipality of Verbicaro, Italy and funded within the CERV programme of EU. The aim of the project is raising awareness of European culture amongst the different countries and the opportunity of mobility and moving talents and culture across Europe.

The first project meeting was held on 22nd and 23rd January 2023 in Verbicaro, Italy. During the event project partners met in person and discussed the organisation of future project events. VVI foundation sent 2 representatives from Bulgaria at the meeting.

The second project event was a youth exchange at Verbicaro, Italy between 29th June and 4th July 2023. Seven Bulgarian participants took part in the event and developed their creativity and cultural awareness and expression through different intercultural activities.

The second youth event within the project happened in Samokov, Bulgaria between 14 th and 16th August 2023, organised by VVI foundation. 38 participants from Bulgaria, Spain, Italy and Germany took part in the intensive blended learning activities.

The exchange gived young people from partner countries the opportunity to gather and explore the visible and invisible characteristics of cultures, learn subtleties of painting on glass and silk, create pieces of art using natural materials, think about the possibilities to build a profession or business based on arts and crafts.

In addition to the live exchange in Samokov, the project also included two online events - one before and one after the live event, where young people developed their digital skills and learned about the opportunities for young people within the framework of the EU programmes.
